More than 70,000 young adults between the ages of 18 and 40 are diagnosed with cancer every year. THRIVE Cancer Fertility Resources was born out of one such young couple’s experience. Since its inception in 2007, the Mariposa Program has assisted young adults in Central Texas to start or continue their family planning efforts. As costs for infertility procedures continue to rise, THRIVE has been able to effectively reduce the out-of-pocket costs applicants will pay by nearly 65%.
THRIVE Cancer Fertility Resources (THRIVE) is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting young adults living with cancer in the Central Texas area. Recognizing the fact that the average young adult carries a heavy load of financial debt, THRIVE strives to relieve a portion of the financial and emotional burden that a cancer diagnosis presents.
